What is Tideland?
Tideland is the name of the ecosystem at the coast 50 km north of Oldenburg, my hometown. Here the tide is high and the coast line is shallow. So about each 12 hours large parts of the coast get flooded. As a result this area is changing constantly, matching to my motto – embrace change.
A long time ago I wanted to have a kind of brand for my own Open-Source Software. So I chose this beautiful name. Most of this software is written in Go. And those libraries can be found at tideland.dev/<library>. Today they are still stored at GitHub, but I’ll migrate them to Codeberg.
I will gradually introduce them here and report on any news after updates or new stuff.
